CBS Corporation, (CBS): Founded in 1986, headquartered in New York, New York, CBS Corporation is a mass media company in the United States and Internationally.
Market is expecting a profit of 22 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a drop of 18 cents compared to its actual profit of 40 cents a share in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of 34 cents a share and 8 cents a share in the quarters ended December 2008, and June 2009 respectively, where as it posted a loss of 8 cents in the quarter ended March 2009.

The company posted a profit of 43 cents, 47 cents, and 41 cents a share in the quarters ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Market is expecting a profit of 21 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a jump of 11 cents compared to its actual profit of 10 cents it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of 15 cents, 16 cents and 24 cents a share for quarters ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Sunoco, Inc., (SUN): Founded in 1886, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sunoco, manufactures and markets various petroleum products, including fuels, lubricants, and petrochemicals in the United States.
Market is expecting a loss of 11 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a drop of $4.89 compared to its actual profit it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of $2.68 and $0.50 a share in the quarters ended December 2008, and March 2009 respectively, where as it posted a loss of 27 cents a share in the quarter ended June 2009.

The company posted a profit of 28 cents, 32 cents, and 31 cents a share in the quarters ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.
