November 04, 2009 Watch List: Kraft Foods, Inc., (KFT), Yamana Gold, Inc., (AUY),  Garmin, Ltd, (GRMN), Pulte Homes, Inc., (PHM), Time Warner, Inc., (TWX)

Kraft Foods, Inc., (KFT): Founded in 2000, based in Northfield, Illinois, Kraft Foods, Inc., manufactures and markets packaged food products and grocery products worldwide.

Market is expecting a profit of 48 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a jump of 4 cents compared to its actual profit of 44 cents it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of 43 cents, 45 cents and 56 cents a share in the quarter ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Currently trading around $27, with an average 10 million shares per day. KFT is in my BUY watch list for short term trading. Watch for earnings release on Tuesday November 03, after market close.

Yamana Gold, Inc., (AUY): Founded in 2003, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, Yaman Gold, Inc, engages in the acquisition, exploration, development, and operation of gold properties.

Market is expecting a profit of 13 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a jump of 8 cents compared to 5 cents of profit a share it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of 5 cents, 8 cents, and 13 cents in the quarters ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Currently trading at around $10 a share with an average volume of about 16 million shares a day. AUY is in my BUY watch list for short term trading. Watch for earnings on Tuesday November 3, 2009 after market close.

Garmin Ltd, (GRMN): Founded in 1990, based in Camana Bay, cayman Islands, Garmin, designs, develops, manufactures, and markets global positioning system enabled products and other navigation, communication, and information products worldwide.

Market is expecting a profit of 69 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a drop of 18 cents a share compare to its actual profit it posted in the same quarter a year ago.

GRMN is in my BUY watch list for short term trading. Watch for earnings on Wednesday November 4, 2009 before market open.

Pulte Homes, Inc., (PHM): Founded in 1956, headquartered in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Pulte Homes, Inc., engages in home building and financial services primarily in the United States.

Market is expecting a loss of 64 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a jump of 57 cents compared to its lost it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a loss of $1.13, $1.33, $2.02 and 74 cents in the quarters ended September 2008, December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Currently trading at around $9 with an average volume of 7.7 million shares per day.  Pulte, is in my SHORT sell watch list for short term trading. Watch for earnings release Wednesday November 04, 2009 before market open.

Time Warner, Inc., (TWX): Founded in 1985, based in New York, New York, Time Warner, operates as a media and entertainment company in the United States and Internationally.

Market is expecting a profit of 53 cents a share for the quarter ended September 2009, a drop of 40 cents compared to its actual profit of 93 cents it posted in the same quarter a year ago. The company posted a profit of 69 cents, 45 cents and 45 cents a shares in the quarters ended December 2008, March 2009, and June 2009 respectively.

Currently trading at around $30 with an average trading volume of 7.5 million trade per day. TWX is in my BUY watch list for short term trading. Watch for earnings release on Wednesday November 4, 2009 before market open.
